Yes, I'm playing catch up. I thought it would slow down after Christmas but it has been the complete opposite. Anyway, here are some of the highlights from Christmas day. Enjoy!
For breakfast we had bacon, eggs, and toast all smashed together like a muffin. They were really yummy and easy to make.
The boys got Casey an Ironman Piggy Bank. I had taken them to Color-Me-Mine and they painted the pig themselves. It's quite the work of art.
Olliebug enjoying his first Christmas!
Spencer got me a Thomas Train set - no joke! I haven't played with it yet because some little boy is always playing with it. Go figure.
Spencer experiencing his first view finder. He didn't quite understand how it worked on Christmas but now he has the hang of it and really enjoys it.
Smoochy, smoochy! Casey got more kisses than just this one because he got me the best gifts. I got a 1000 piece puzzle which happens to also be a picture find. Then he got a stow away set for the puzzle so I'm not pressured to quickly finish it or worry about the boys taking the pieces off the table while I work on it - brilliant! I also got a beautiful necklace and earrings. Lastly, cereal bowls that separate the milk from the cereal so the cereal doesn't get soggy. I'll have to take a picture and post it at a later time cause I'm sure this isn't making sense. Trust me, though, these bowls rock!
Olliebug and Corinnie Winnie. We were so lucky to have Corinne spend Christmas with us. The boys love having her around so it would have been weird if she didn't spend it with us.
A photo before the boys woke up
Spencer got an automatic Thomas the Train set from Santa. He loved it so much that he had a hard time opening other gifts. Between gifts he would go play with Thomas. He still loves this gift so much and plays with it daily. I do have to remind him to shut Thomas off so he will have energy to be a Really Useful Engine:)
Oliver getting into the train action
Oliver got a variety of musical instruments from Santa. From an early age he has recognized music and moves his body so instruments made sense. We have put on some of the best concerts these past few weeks.
