Ryanne = official triathlete

Yesterday Ryanne took part of her first triathlon. She did amazing. Because of her busy work schedule and taking care of Spencer, she was not able to train the way she would have like to, but she said she signed up for it and was determined to do it. Here is a recap of her race through photos:

Pre-race prep- Ryanne getting her bike and clothes situated.

She was going to lie about her age but i kept her honest about turning 30.

Finishing her first 50 meters and in great form.

Finishing 150 meters, half way done.

Spencer left on his own. He's fine as long a he has some food.

Coming up on 250 meters, only 50 meters left.

I hope you noticed the chick on the wall and Ryanne swimming away from her.

That's right, Ryanne passed her! HOLLA!

The worst part is over and now to get on to the rest.

Running from the swim to her stuff and getting ready to start biking.

Notice all the other bikes still there. That's right, they are still waiting their turn to swim and she's done.

Successful transition and hopefully she can get on her bike.

Successful bike mount and she's off for a 13 mile bike ride.

*Casey did not get a better photo of her finishing the bike because if you look to the right of the picture you will see two women. The one to the furthest right forgot about being done after two loops and is cutting across traffic. The woman behind her got cut off, she has only done one lap, and went down. Casey was right there and helped out the woman that went down. She was fine and only scraped up one of her palms.

2nd transition successful and off to the run.

We have no idea what happened after she passed that black flag in the previous picture but this is what emerged. Watch out ladies, Ryanne's coming!

As we get back to Spencer we see that he is just fine once again as long as he has some food.

Coming down the finishing shoot. We are glad things turned around after the start of the run.

Spencer was crying as Ryanne was finishing and she just saw him and is overly concerned.
