St. Patrick's Day

Our awesome neighbor, Jenna, does a scavenger hunt each year for the kids.  They receive a letter from Lenny the Leprechaun and then search for 4-leaf clovers that have letters on them.  Once all the clovers are gathered they sort them out to make a phrase which tells them where the hidden treasure is.  This year the treasure was a bouncy ball with silly string because who doesn't love a silly string war?  It's so fun to watch them run around and get so excited once they know where the treasure is hidden.  I'm glad we have such creative and fun neighbors.

It was a longer phrase this year so it took the boys a little time to figure it out

Spencer was so happy to see the treasure was a ball.  We have quite the ball collection these days.

Let the silly string war begin!

Nice aim "D"

Okay, so maybe the eye wasn't the best!

Afterwards the kids had pizza, cupcakes, and Sprite.  Yes, this was Spencer's first time drinking soda, but I figured, what the heck.  He's only young once right?
