Spencer has been sitting up on his own now for a few weeks so I thought he was ready to sit in the grocery basket. Well, it was a good idea that went bad real fast. He couldn't seem to hold onto the bumpy cart tight enough as we walked through the store. Plus all that extra room made him a bit uncomfortable. Not long after we entered the store I found myself carrying him in one arm and pushing the cart with the other. I'm going to wait awhile before we try that again.
You should get a cart cover. It gives them a bit more padding and then put your diaper bag next time him that way there is less space =) He is definitely growing up though!
