Baby Shower Pics

This past weekend my dear friend, Corinne, threw a baby shower for me.  It was fun to see family and friends before the chaos of a third child happens.

I've done this for other showers I've hosted and wanted to do it for my own.  I think it will be fun to read the messages at 2 am.

I thought it would be fun to have friends suggest fun activities for Oliver and Spencer.  It might help when I have a hungry baby and two boys who want my attention.  Thanks everyone for some great ideas!

We are struggling with boy names so I thought it would help to get some suggestions.  We asked everyone who attended to write a few names that they liked.  They could be boys or girls, but we were really looking for boys.  One friend told us that if we ended up naming our kid the name she suggested that she would pay for their college. Hopefully we like and pick that name.

The donut hole and fruit kabobs were so delicious and easy to make.  They would be good for any party.

We tried hash brown cups with sausage and egg for the first time.  They were a hit!

We had blueberry and peach croissant puffs as well as mini muffins.  I really enjoyed the peach croissant puff cause it was soft and juicy.

Since the shower was at my house I handled the decorations.  I made the above banner that had mustaches and bows on it.  Kinda hard to tell in the picture.

Last minute I decided to print some pictures from my belly photo shoot and put them in the entry way.  I liked how it looked so I haven't taken them down yet.

What's a party without party favors?  We handed out Blow Pop suckers that said "look who's ready to pop".

My good friend, Ivy, flew in from Seattle to attend the party.  I hadn't seen here in 18 months so it was a nice surprise.  We got to go to lunch afterwards and catch up.  I really miss having her close.

Nyla and many of my other church friends attended the shower.

My lovely grandma came down from Roy.  I'm so lucky to have her somewhat close.

My friend, Tracey, lives in Salt Lake but I don't get to see her often so I'm glad she came.  We met 15 years ago in southern California and have stayed in touch no matter where we've lived.

Belly Shots

After a long hiatus from posting I've decided to come back!  I thought the best place to start would be my belly shots of our third child.  I only have 4 weeks to go until the little tostada arrives.
