St. George

It was President's Day weekend and Casey had triathlon training down in St. George so the boys and I tagged along.  My Aunt Jennie and her family were in St. George the same weekend for a soccer tournament.  Casey was busy training but the boys and I went and cheered Savanna on.  It was good to see and spend time with them.  We also took advantage of the nice weather and went on a family hike.  Our intentions were to go hiking in Zion's National Park, but when we saw the $25 entry fee, we passed.  We knew the boys wouldn't last that long.  We had a good time exploring together as a family.

Once Spencer saw Oliver in the carrier he wouldn't stop talking about his turn in the carrier.  So we gave him a turn to keep it fair.

My boys (note - this is Spencer's smile these days.  Don't ever tell your child to "say cheese" for photos)

Casey approved this picture.  This was the only one we had of him with Olliebug.

Valentine's Day

For Valentine's Day we invited 15 little 3 year olds over to our house to make a craft.  The kids decorated hearts, stuffed them with candy, and then shoe laced them together.  Everyone had a great time except for Spencer.  He was having melt down after melt down so I laid him in his bed.  He fell asleep amidst all the chaos and noise so he must have been pretty tired.  I helped him later that day finish his heart pouch. *Note* I do not have any pictures of the party because of all the chaos.  There was too much going on between all the kids that I didn't have a spare minute to take pictures.

Leading up to Valentine's day we made a heart countdown that hung on each boys door.  Every morning there was a new heart on the door.  Each heart said something that we loved about them.  So Spencer was ready for Valentine's morning and all the fun that went along with it.  Both boys had a great time opening all their Valentine gifts (thank you grandma and grandpa, Aymee, Mike, and Harper, Oma, grandad and grandma, Amber, Chad, Steve and Andrew).
